- Train operator CrossCountry is supporting South West organisations to raise awareness of safe routes to report crime and criminal behaviour.
- Working with charity Crimestoppers and social enterprise Unique Voices, a suite of resources has been launched help young people speak up and report exploitation – in particular around county lines activities.
- The resources are funded by a £17,000 investment from CrossCountry’s Customer and Community Improvement Fund, which supports initiatives across the UK.

Steve Hopkinson has been appointed Service Delivery Director for CrossCountry. Steve will have a pivotal role at the heart of CrossCountry, overseeing the way we deliver our service to our customers. He will be focused on providing strategic leadership to the operations teams ensuring that a high quality and effective service is delivered.
- There will be no CrossCountry services on Monday 5 February due to planned industrial action by the ASLEF union.
- CrossCountry services may be subject to short-notice changes between Monday 29 January and Tuesday 6 February.
- Journey changes are expected across various routes on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 December.
- A shortage of train crew means there may be more short-notice alterations or cancellations on CrossCountry services.
- Services by other train operators may also be busier than usual.
- We expect our services to be extremely busy, some may be subject to cancellations or an amended timetable.
- Services are expected to be busy on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December.
- Due to industrial action by the RMT Union at one of our four maintenance partners in the Edinburgh area, there may be alterations between Saturday 30 December and Monday 1 January.
